“Get KRW 5000 on Your First Transaction” is a two-month campaign where users who make their first transfer through Fonemoney will receive a bonus of KRW 5000.

Joining the campaign is easy, simply send your first transaction from Korea to Nepal using the Fonemoney App. The remitted amount can be sent straight to the recipient's bank account, cash pick-up points, or directly deposited into their eSewa wallet, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all participants.

Campaign Period

The campaign will be valid from September 4, 2025, 12:01 AM (Korean time) to November 3, 2025, 11:59 PM (Korean time), both days inclusive ("Campaign Period").

Eligibility

  • New users who download the Fonemoney app, complete KYC verification, and make their first transaction during the campaign period.
  • Existing users who have registered but not yet verified their KYC. They must complete KYC verification and make their first transaction during the campaign period.
  • Existing users who have verified KYC but have not made any transaction yet. They must make their first transaction during the campaign period.

Participation

  • To participate in the Campaign, eligible users must send remittances through the Fonemoney app. The promo code will be automatically applied for eligible users during the campaign period, and they will instantly receive KRW 5,000 bonus.
  • The Campaign is valid on international remittance transactions sent from South Korea to Nepal.
  • The Campaign is valid on transactions made through all modes: Cash, Bank, and eSewa Wallet.
  • The bonus is limited to one per user.

  • Complete KYC Verification - Ensure your KYC is fully verified in the Fonemoney app.
  • Start Your First Transaction - Choose the amount you want to send.
  • The promo code will be automatically applied for eligible users.
  • Enjoy Your Bonus - KRW 5,000 will be added to the recipient’s payout amount automatically.

Incentives

  • After completing their first transaction, users will instantly receive KRW 5,000 added to the recipient’s transaction amount.
  • Minimum Transaction Amount: Users must send at least KRW 2,50,000 to qualify for the bonus.
  • If the first transaction is reversed, cancelled, or fails to complete, the user will not receive the bonus for that attempt but will remain eligible on their next successful transaction.

General Conditions

  • Fonemoney reserves the right to disqualify any participant if the transaction is not completed as per the campaign T&Cs or engaged in fraudulent activities.
  • Fonemoney reserves the right to modify the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
  • Fonemoney’s decisions in all matters relating to the Campaign are final and binding.
  • All transactions must comply with applicable laws and regulations in South Korea and Nepal.

Publicity

By participating in the Campaign, participants agree to the use of their names, images, and likenesses for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Limitation of Liability

Fonemoney will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Campaign or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prizes.

Data Privacy

Participants' personal information will be used in accordance with Fonemoney's Privacy Policy and for the purposes of administering this Campaign.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Korea. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Campaign will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Korea.
